What The Reviewers Are Saying
Winelines (Gilbert Labour) Silver
“Attractive light cherry with a limpid meniscus. Aromas of red berries with wafts of tobacco, fennel and mixed herbs are released on first pour. This aromatic spectrum translates into a palate-tingling display of similar flavours underpinned by a tight, astringent framework. This youthful Pinot Noir from the cool-climate region of Braidwood, is currently bright, vibrant, lively and generous in primary fruit delivery. It also shows promises of further development and integration with some ageing.”
Ozwinereview (Andrew Graham) Silver
“Only 50 cases made of this Pinot Noir, made from the tiny Sapling Yard home vineyard at Braidwood. It’s hand-pressed, which, from personal experience, is bloody hard work. 30% whole bunches. High acid and light early picked mode with bright strawberry and Pinot crunch. Excellent Pinosity – it feels strawberried and crunchy. The acidity is pretty firm, but the purity is wonderful.”
