What The Reviewers Are Saying

“This light to mid-bodied wine initially delivers a blast of Gamay (20%) characteristics displaying lively raspberry / cherry aromas and flavours with floral overtones. The Pinot Noir component then unfurls a supporting mouthfeel of peppery leather, grippy cool-climate acid and fine tannins. This blend from the Sapling Yard team is a fragrant, lively and refreshing wine ideally suited to the current warm weather. We enjoyed ours, slightly chilled with a smoked ham & asparagus quiche.”

“A lovely Passetoutgrains take from the Sapling Yard Braidwood Vineyard. A bit of woody hedgerow and black stemmy elements, very light cherry and raspberry fruit. A little funk, shedloads of acidity, the mode is fresh and frisky, light spiced red. Perhaps a bit too light and bony, but super refreshing and not without herbal persistence.”
